Key Services<\/span><\/h2>

DUCC designs and administer University’s entire IT infrastructure comprising of:
Data Centre with more than 80 servers hosting different applications such as Websites, DNS, proxy, Email, Network Monitoring System (NMS) etc.
Colocation Servers for<\/p>

a. Examination results,
b. School of open Learning,
c. Administration,
d. Finance,
e. Institute of Lifelong Learning,
f. Online admissions
g. DU Community radio

License Servers for latest and updated software like SPSS, Mathematica, MatLab, SigmaPlot, Jaws etc.<\/p>

Networking equipment comprising of more than 400 network switches and 85+ Biometric attendance machines.<\/p>

Wi-Fi equipment comprising of 100+ switches and 500 wireless access points<\/p>

Fibre optic cable network of 43 kilometers laid across both campuses<\/p>

  • UTM (Security) device<\/li>
  • More than 15000 wired network nodes across both campuses and colleges.<\/li>
  • More than 5500 Campus Wi-Fi user accounts (and increasing)<\/li>
  • More than 2300 Email IDs for Campus and facilitating more than 1.5 lakh email ID of associated colleges over Google servers.<\/li>
